Eighty-two percent of students in higher education turn to Wikipedia for their course-related research. But, according to a new report out of the University of Washington, most are doing it just to give their research a jump start.

I think this is crazy that so many students turn to wikipedia. There are so many other more reliable sources out there to use for research. I guess that it is just a matter of knowing where to look. There are some incredible tools available to students. My favorite is the lecture capture which helps you to take notes so you can be more engaged in the discussion.
