WIKIPEDIA AGAIN!!!

Have you seen this article about a 22 year old Irish student who decided to test journalists' research skills by posting a phony quote in Wikipedia?

The quote ended up in countless blogs, although Wikipedia's quick response had it removed from the site repeatedly because it was not reference!!

Read the article at: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30699302

I love the countless attempts to ignorantly villify Wikipedia... they have a method that is flawed, needs vast improvement nonetheless, but this doesn't change the statistical accuracy of the statement that the accuracy is on par with the likes of Encyclopedia Britannica.

Keep it smart, use the references on the bottom of Wikipedia articles - not the article information themselves - but I think instead if villifying the concept/service, we should push for the safeguards that will boost the accuracy and reliability of the site.
