NEW SERVICES

New LIBRARY CAFÉ opens – Come to the new library café, located in the library student lounge for coffee and other goodies. Service is available Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:00am – 12:30pm.

New LIBRARY KIOSKS on campus – “Ask Us Anything “ kiosks located in the Science building, Student Center, Administration and Library allow faculty and students to get help on any topic from these locations. More locations to be added.

New LIBRARY PHONE SYSTEM – The new Library voicemail system is up and running. Dial x6965 and press 1 for hours, press 2 for the circulation desk and press 3 for the reference desk.

New FACULTY REMOTE ACCESS TO LIBRARY RESOURCES – From the Library homepage, click on the For Faculty tab for instructions.

ONGOING SERVICES /RESOURCES

Enhanced LIBRARY WEBSITE – Our website has been reorganized, featuring easier access for faculty and students. Make sure your click on FOR FACULTY from our homepage.

LIBRARY LIAISON PROGRAM– This program continues to be a success, linking library subject specialists to their respective curriculums, establishing ongoing relationships between the librarians and faculty.

LIBRARY BLOG – Find out what’s going on in the Drimmer Library. Check here for announcements, new resources, and more. Log on and leave a comment.

USER EDUCATION AT EXTENSION SITES– Librarians are available for user education instruction at ALL extension sites, including evening and week-end classes.

VIRTUAL SERVICES–The Library has increased its virtual presence through programs such as Instant Message a Librarian, Ask Us Anything and our Embedded Librarian program.

TEXTBOOKS ON RESERVE– This collection, which provides textbooks, media and other materials to students for library use, continues to grow.

The Library is pleased to offer THE MLA INTERNATIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHY database.
